I've been a regular at the tea pavilion for a while now and always find myself craving their beef rice bowl whenever I visit Balboa Park on resident free Tuesdays. The miso soup they serve is also really tasty. Situated next to the Japanese Friendship Garden, it's a convenient spot to grab a quick bite with friendly service and a discount for park employees.
