The breakfasts remind me of the Waffle House back home, with fresh food, friendly staff, reasonable prices, especially their delicious pies like the sweet banana cream and tart cherry, and while the ambiance is simple and fast-food style, the new, clean, and spacious Orinda location offers quick service and a pleasant atmosphere where I enjoyed a perfect chicken sandwich and a silky pumpkin crí¨me pie, making it a favorite local hangout with consistent quality and courteous employees despite the busy, noisy crowd after a football game.
