The old-school Italian restaurant had a friendly and attentive team, delicious vegetarian options, and generous portions, with standout dishes like ravioli, pesto spaghetti, and linguini with house-made sausage, all accompanied by complimentary bread and butter, and an irresistible dessert of profiteroles.

Il Pavone was the first restaurant we went to after moving into Rossmoor ten years ago. And frankly had not returned to until today for a pizza pick-up. The restaurant itself is a little claustrophobic and I'm not a fan of carpets in restaurants.My wife and I come from areas back east where pizza is the best. But I'm here to write: Il Pavone makes a pizza that tops it. The crust! I have never eaten a better crust. The crust alone is worth the price. I had their classic pepperoni and told them to make like they want to make it - to see what they thought was good. They did and it was great. Really great!!!
