After wandering the Monterey Aquarium, I found myself craving some clam chowder and landed at Vivolo's, where the chowder was creamy yet light enough to keep me coming back for more. The Dungeness crab sandwich stole the show with its sweet, chunky crab meat, while the fried oysters surprised me with a delicious dill-infused batter that added a savory twist. The casual vibe, accommodating staff (heat lamps for a patio-dining dog included), and generous guava mimosas made for a weekend meal that saved me from any silent judgment and left me already plotting my return.
