excellent food!

we have been eating at the Bamboo Inn in Elk Grove since the early 2000's. At one time it was the best around which would account for the best in class award they received in 2003. We still return occasionally, hoping it will be the right cook, but we have been very disappointed a few times; it seems like it depends on "who is cooking at the time" we go. Sometimes it's wonderful and sometimes Raleys takes 1st place (even though we can't stand Raley's bland, tasteless Chinese food). I wish they could either stick with the same wonderful cook, or at least everyone cook the same way, especially the pork chow mein, pork fried rice, sesame chicken and the hot & sour soup. When those are done by the "wonderful" cook, the place is the best.
