After weeks of texting and talking, we met at the Boathouse nearly halfway between us despite stormy weather and getting lost, and the experience-complete with some of the best Cobb salad and burgers I've ever had, friendly and professional service, beautiful lakeside views, and an inviting atmosphere for both car and boat arrivals-made it a memorable and delicious stop I'll return to whenever in the area.

After weeks of chatting, we finally met up on a stormy day and I got a bit lost trying to find the Boathouse, but the journey was worth it for the delicious Cobb salad and to-die-for burger. The friendly staff made the experience even better, and I can't wait to stop by again on my trips along Hwy 20.
