I've called Santa Rosa home for two decades now, yet never ventured into Chubby's until today when I craved a Denny's-style breakfast with a touch of elevated quality. Upon trying Chubby's, I was pleasantly surprised by the classic egg and bacon breakfast I ordered - the hashbrowns were crispy outside and tender inside, the eggs perfectly cooked, and the bacon just right. The service was attentive, the atmosphere cozy and quiet, making it a place I'll definitely revisit for another satisfying meal.

Not a very good breakfast. The hash browns were raw - could not even chew them. The sausage was under cooked, so did not eat that either. The sausage gravy on overcooked biscuits was ok, although not much of it. The only bright spot was that the poached eggs were perfect. Probably will not eat there again. Very nice hostess.
