Originally from San Diego, I've found that this place in Redding, CA comes closest to authentic Mexican food from down south. The food here is delicious and the service is efficient. The atmosphere is laid back and perfect for enjoying a meal without feeling rushed.

My son wanted us to go close to where he worked and said this place was great. I ordered the small dinner #7, Taco and Chile Relleno. On about the second bite of the relleno, I thought, "What is this?" It didn't taste right. The stem end was so hard, like a piece of steel, was pushed off to the side. Well, I shouldn't have eaten the Relleno, It is 1 a.m. and I have been up vomiting with the after taste of the Relleno. Everyone else loved their food and my granddaughter even ate her burrito, which was unusual. Sorry, but I won't be back. I don't like paying and then being sick.
