I went there years ago and it was okay, but they put a ton of cheese on beans, enchiladas etc. I went last year and it was okay. It depends on someone's taste or what they order. I heard the tamales were good, but never ordered them. I live about 2 miles away and I can take it or leave it. I feel bad for the person that got the wrong debit card, there's not excuse for that and------------ they should make it right.

I dinned at El Burro restaurant at the Campbell location. I paid with a debit card, only to find out the next day that not only was I billed for my meal but an un-authorized charge was billed to my debit card for a total of $172.50.
I spoke to El Burro's management and requested that this be resolved only to be told this charge never occured. At this time of writing my bank has filed a claim of fraud agaisnt El Burro. El Burro has taken the position that this charge never occurred. The wait person had handed me someon elses debit card for me to sign for my meal.
I returned it to the wait person informing him that the debit card was not mine. My debit card was given to some other customer and it appears that I was billed for their party. El Burro states that this did not occur. But This particular parties bill was for $172.00. You decide if this was gross negligence or did the wait person see an opportunity to pocket $172.00

We had a group of 12 people.
My beef fajitas were terrible. Beef was so overcooked that it was leathery. When I complained, server did not offer to either replace it or take it off the bill.
Rest of group reported their dinners were we also terrible, including bland enchiladas and tacos. We all agreed that we will never go back to El Burro.
Service was also not good. Servers were occupying one big table in the dining room chit-chatting.

Im reading all the bad reveiws..They must be crazy. The food at El Burro is fantastic. The sauces are the best around. Anyone who says they are bland must have no sense of taste..

I grew up eating El Burro food and always loved it for 30 years. It was the best and my favorite. But now??? It must have changed hands because it stinks. Rotten food and very bad service.
It just makes me cry. It is empty too. Everyone seems to know that it has changed. Will it be around much longer??? No telling.
