We finally got a chance to sit down and try the food at this old-school joint that's been dishing out fried artichoke hearts for decades. The menu may not be winning any awards, but the tuna melt and burger hit the spot, and those deep fried artichokes with a kick of Tabasco were surprisingly tasty. It was a blast from the past dining in a place my parents used to frequent, and despite the funky smell and quirky dí©cor, the friendly service and delicious artichoke dishes made it a memorable meal.

Love the deep fried artichoke hearts...
