Bad chicken sandwich. It was rubbery and small. I got sweet potato fries instead of the potato salad I ordered (this was take-out so I couldn't return it and I'm not crazy about sweet potato fries). The bread was soggy because they didn't dry the lettuce. I won't be going back. Oh yes! and I spent $18.52 for the privilege of eating half the sandwich and throwing the other half away. $9 down the drain.

The Omelette which are cooked perfectly My coffee cup never runs dry Your breakfast burrito is hot and 😋and I know it's one of the best places to eat breakfast and lunch.The Pot roast is so good and the portions are plenty.

Horrible experience, called in my order from menu online and when I went and picked it up none of the pricing lined up, the owner said it wasn't her site, she doesn't put prices on her site. Well there is only one Charlie's Cafe in Citrus Heights. Will not return, and will encourage others to do the same.

The owner told me and my guests "DONT COME BACK AGAIN."
We waited more than 40 min for food to arrive. Others who were seated after us, recd their meals before us. One customer was seated 10 min after us and recd his order promptly. Our order was grilled cheese sandwich, plain waffle, 6 sauages, and chicken salad.
When we got up to leave, the waitress who took our order, thanked us for coming in. My guest told her we hadnt even been served yet! I, in, turn, spoke to another wait staff about the wait. We walked out the door only to have missus owner yell at us that order just got on grill and do you know how long it takes to cook!? 40 min is too long we told her and thats when she unprofessionally yelled out dont come back again for all in the waiting area to hear.
Its not likely she will miss our business...she has plenty clientele. Its too bad for me because I enjoyed their link sauages.

The people are nice but the food doesn't seem as good since they moved to their new location. Our family misses the quality and the online menu needs a lot of updating.
