The food here consistently hits the mark, especially their eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak, and cinnamon French toast, all delivered fresh and flavorful. The 50's-style ambiance with comfy booths and upbeat music creates a fun, nostalgic vibe that makes each visit enjoyable. Service is generally quick and friendly, and I appreciate that the portions are just right without feeling overwhelming.

I've been coming to chubbys. Since they were at there old location and have followed them to where there at now.
Come for there breakfast great selection omelets and egg Benedict are delicious. Must try!
Love the decor and music.
BEST BREAKFAST IN MANTECA.
Prices are not outrageous.
Friendly staff food arrives timely and hot. Coffee is also good.

Food is always good here. Their menu has nice variety. Everytime I go there, I try a different menu item & have yet to be disappointed. One of my favorite places.

My wife and I went there on 11-23-2016. We were seating and ordered water and tea. When the drinks came, we ordered our food. My wife ordered a Philly Cheese and I ordered a foot long Chili Dog and a mixed basket of fries/onion rings. We waiting over 20-25 minutes and still did not get our food. We ending up walking out.

We also noticed that there were about 10 customers in the whole place. THE SERVICE WAS VERY POOR and my wife and I will not be going back. We couldn't rate the food because we never received it.

Prices are fair lighting is too bright like I'm eating in a dentist's office and the quantity of food is too skimpy

Great place to eat, great service, and good prices, but PLEASE don't mop or clean tables with Pinesol until after the customers leave for the night. I can't stand to eat and suddenly have to smell Pinesol because an employee is wiping down a table or mopping the floor!! Same for some Mexican restaurants in town. Would be 5 stars if not for the Pinesol, lol!

I really want to give Chubby's 5 star's, but the only reason I can't is because it's dirty.... maybe not dirty but it looks that way because everything is old and worn out. They need to replace the booths and wax the floors. It really would be a better place to eat at if when you sit down.... you don't sit in a hole. The food and service is great. The old booths and ugly floors takes away from enjoying the place.
