Alfonso's in Ceres is a long-standing favorite for delicious Chile Rellano. The family-owned restaurant has been serving up tasty meals for over 40 years. The friendly staff, generous portions, and cozy atmosphere make it a must-try in the area.

First of all, I would like to say the restaurant was nice, clean and quiet. We were there wednesday May 10, 2023. My husband ordered a steak fajita. He said it was good. I ordered a #18, two chilli rellenos with rice and beans. The rice and beans were delicious. I was a little bit disappointed with the chili rellenos. They were made with a runny white sauce filling. It looked like sour cream but I suspect it might have been cream cheese. It did not have the texture of cheese at all. Usually at other restaurants there is a choice of red or green sauce on top of the rellenos. These from Alphonso's had A yellow tasteless sauce. Overall the experience was pleasant, the wait staff were friendly and I will eat there again. I just will not have the chili rellenos which is my Favorite Mexican food.

I have eaten here for many special occasions and also just for lunch. They have the best food and the service is great

Worst Mexican food I've ever had. The Chile relleno tasted like no Chile relleno I've ever had and the chicken enchilada was shredded chicken stuffed in a tortilla wrap with sauce over the top. Just chicken no onions no nothing but chicken. The best part of the whole meal was the guacamole and the refried beans. I won't eat there again and would definitely not recommend it to anyone!
