After a day hike in Placerville, I stopped at Hong Kong Inn for takeout to celebrate New Year's Eve, as I wasn't in the mood to cook. The food was decent, featuring Americanized Chinese dishes with generous portions, and the staff provided friendly service.

Best cashew chicken I have ever had and the portions are huge. Always have take home boxes! Great place for food, surroundings are not posh but it is worth going to.
