Staying in the Ulysses S. Grant room felt like stepping into a time capsule, complete with intriguing journals in each room and a lively saloon downstairs where the bartender juggled a packed crowd with ease. Between the comfy bed, delicious prime rib, friendly staff like Darlene at the front desk, and a charming creek where my kid and I splashed around, this historic spot made for a memorable and entertaining getaway in the heart of town.

I had a unique experience staying in the Ulysses S Grant room, rumored to be haunted, though I didn't encounter anything unusual. The bar downstairs was lively on the weekends, but the bartender was attentive, and the food was delicious, making for an enjoyable stay overall.
