Pizza can be good but you have to check the prices before you pay for the pizza. They have one charge on their take out menu, one on their website and then there is the price they actually charge you which is always higher then the other two prices. Ask them why there's so many different prices and they don't have a good answer. It's unbelievable that a place can mix up orders on a regular basis, charge you what ever they want to burn pizza and can not keep a Togo pizza warm until you pick it up. Almost always cold when I pick it up. The employees are nice but still get the pizza right. It's all in the crust in a pizza and pizza plus has a good crust.

This is the best pizza in the area. I live in the Arnold area and drive to Murphys for Pizza Plus .

This was the third time that we ordered pizza here, and the third time that the order was wrong. Fortunately, the first two pizzas were quite good. Mistakes are a great way to try new things. However, after the first two mistakes, we should have looked at the third pizza before leaving with it!
The third pizza was . . . weird. It was full of zucchini and peanuts and things that had no business on a pizza. It smelled great, and probably would have been just as good as the first two mistakes. Yet, this time we felt that we should get the pizza that we paid about $30 for.
When I telephoned, the kid that answered got the manager almost immediately, as if I had done something too horrible for him to get involved with. The manager then told me that we took a pizza that was meant for someone else. I was already aware of this (duh), but he made it seem like we had committed theft, when in fact someone at his end simply gave us the wrong pizza. He went on to explain that the pizza that we 'took' was worth more than what we had paid for, as if our preference for something with a bit of meat on it was completely irrelevant. He said that it would be better for us to enjoy the wrong pizza because by the time we got back to make the switch, our pizza would not be hot. I suppose that putting it into a warming oven would have been too much trouble.
We decided to make the switch. On the way back, we were nibbling bits off the top of the wrong pizza because we knew that it would be discarded when we returned it. We arrived just as someone else was coming in with a pizza that was not as he ordered it. We made the realization that he had our pizza, and we had his. That is why putting our pizza into a warming oven until we picked it up was not an option. What if our pizza had not come back? Would we have gotten a new pizza?
The manager was a total jerk, and started lecturing me about taking the wrong pizza. I really should have gotten a refund. Without thinking much about it, we took the pizza that the other guy had just returned. The other guy (who had just returned our pizza) was watching the television while he waited for his replacement pizza to come out of the oven.
This is were it gets even weirder. As we walked back to the car, my friend told me to wait a minute as he was looking back through the front window at the counter were we had just exchanged the wrong pizza for the correct pizza. The manager opened the pizza that we had just left, poked at it a bit, closed the box, and then called to the guy who had just returned our pizza! He happily retrieved his seemingly fresh pizza and left with it! We really should have said something to him. I would have been too embarrassed to tell him that we had been nibbling off the top of his pizza! The pizza that he had returned was intact, and just as good as we were expecting it to be; but that is not the point! It should be obvious that we could have done something really nasty to his pizza just as easily as he could have done something really nasty to ours!
In the end, all three pizzas were quite good, but we will not be going back for a fourth. (I rarely go to Murphys anyway.) The manager is such a militant jerk!
