This rustic mountain lodge near Monarch Pass has an old-fashioned charm and offers spacious rooms with beautiful views, though some amenities like key cards and kitchen appliances could use updating. The indoor heated pool and peaceful lake provide relaxing outdoor options, and the restaurant serves tasty food despite a limited menu during the slow season. The staff, especially Rachel at the front desk, were exceptionally friendly and informative, making the overall experience very enjoyable.
