After stopping by Babes following the Assumption bazaar on 78th and York, we ended up staying longer than expected because the live band playing some R&B and funk was really enjoyable. The bartender was sweet, the atmosphere laid-back, and with cheap drinks, popcorn, and fun activities like beer pong and pool tables, it's a lively and welcoming place to unwind with friends.

I hadn't experienced the live music at Babes until last night after visiting the Assumption bazaar. We decided to enjoy a few beers and ended up staying longer because the band playing was really enjoyable, even though I can't remember their name. The atmosphere was laid back, the bartender was sweet, and it was nice to see a lively crowd having a great time.
