I enjoy the large plate of saucy & spicy Italian Spaghetti with sausage & decent side salad portion, served after 1pm daily upon request if not on the board.

Great place...simple and filling food, great prices and comfortable open seating , great for people like me who are large and have trouble walking....so most restaurants are out. Wait staff ladies are efficient, homey and know their stuff. You feel at home, no pretention here. You sit near construction workers, locals and people like me who just want a good meal.
Hubby loves the smothered breakfast burrito....I love their fries, crispy and good....my fav dish is the ground beef patty with green peppers/onions with a real baked potato, yep, sour cream and butter. Oh my. I laugh at their daily specials....crazy and imaginative....really? BBQ pork omelet? Their house breakfast fried potatoes are simply tummy warming.
The place is on our way home when we have to go near downtown, so we go down Colfax and purposely end up at this place....what a treat. A safe, warm and inviting place.
Mashed potatoes are real...gravy pretty good says hubby....green chile wonderful per hubby....club sandwich on sourdough perfect per me.

MY FAMILY HAS BEEN GOING HERE FOR YEARS AND I HAVE TO SAY THE SERVERS NEED TO BE TRAINED THEY ARE RUDE TO CUSTOMERS AND THEY DINT CARE IF YOU COME BACK SO IF YOU ARE GOING WEST DOWN COLFAX KEEP GOING THIS PLACE IS A JOKE

I give this place a two star because I do order to go once in a while ... when too lazy to travel further out. I usually order the burrito which is OK but nothing to write home about. I once ordered the pork chop dinner ... "Where's the PORK?". I also, ordered the hamburger (2010) the burger was a prefab patty and had a taste of nothing but dry. Only dined in once and had the breakfast Hash browns, 4 slices bacon, toast and cup of coffee ... set me back over $10 ... REALLY?

Save your money and go to Pete's or Ihop for breakfast. Like I said ... Will order the burrito but only @ breakfast (without eggs) because the same burrito at dinner time is $$$.
