Growing up in Fairfield County, Merritt Canteen has always been a go-to for classic, fresh-made burgers, hot dogs, and shakes that never disappoint. Even after moving 40 minutes away, the quick, friendly service and consistently tasty food bring back great memories every time I visit. The chili dogs and bison cheeseburgers stand out as favorites, and the mac and cheese bites are seriously next level-crispy outside, soft inside, and totally addictive.
