Was there opening night June 3, 2005 and have been a faithful regular customer ever since. I've tried many an Italian restaurant and nothing compares. Felix, David, and Pamela are nothing short of fantastic. The food is wonderful, the service is great, and I tell everyone I know about this place because it is not only the best Italian locally, it's the best in the Region. Keep up the good work guys!

I must leave a post in reference to the 1 star that the person below gave....I have to ask...are you from a rival restaurant?

First of all, it is common to pay different price for HOMEMADE pasta if you have actually experienced some of the worlds best italian eateries. Second, the chicken parm and every other recipe on the menu is as good as any restaurant outside of italy.

I just dont get people that put a 1 star review...either my first assumption is right and you are a rival that cannot compete, or you are one of those people that just simply should not go to a restaurant because either "my steak is just too pink" or my "Pasta is slightly cool" or my favorite...."did this get cooked today".... eg: bread too yeasty...... angle hair too expensive...try (angel)

Please dont put this restaurant down unless you have physically seen someone spit in your meal because it is simply perfect. What the lovely Italian owner has done with cucina (in a strip mall mind you) is absolutely incredible!

So stuff your tomatoey sauce where it counts and let me know when your restaurant closes!

review_stars 04/30/2010 - I don't get it
Ya Mamma's was my favorite Italian restaurant for years. I went here based on everyone's rave reviews, but frankly, with the chicken parmesan I had, I just don't get all the great reviews. It was just bland and just plain bad.

First, the freshly-made bread, something I normally LOVE, was horrible. The yeast flavor was overwhelming.

Next, it was very off-putting to pay a $1 extra to get angle hair pasta instead of penne, which really is not the best with chicken parm, in my opinion. Then, the amount of pasta given was INCREDIBLY SKIMPY. You would think it was the expensive part of the meal.

The chicken was over-cooked, especially near the edges. The marinara sauce was WAY too salty...overwhelming really. In addition, this is hard to describe, and may sound funny, but it was too "tomatoey". Of course, marinara is going to taste like tomatoes, but when you add spices like basil, and sugar (to reduce acidity), it begins to taste like sauce...this tasted more like watered down ketchup.

I had very high hopes to replace my old favorite, but I was sorely disappointed.

The food is some of the very best Italian cuisine I've ever had and the service is very friendly. Small restaurant, a little bit crowded and noisy but worth every delicious bite!

I spent every summer in Italy growing up and was raised in NJ which all means I know good Italian food. This was by far the best Italian cuisine I have had in the 8 years I have been living in the area. Authentic, fresh, and the personal touch of the owner makes it a great dining experience. Don't waste your time going to Boston...this is better, cheaper, and a lot more pleasant. Worse thing he could do is expand.

STAY AWAY! This is a terrible restaurant. Really. Go someplace else!

Actually, this is my wife's and my favorite Italian restaurant in New Hampshire. It is a tiny jewel buried in a strip mall in Nashua. The food and service are wonderful. We consider it our "special" place to go.

If you give this place anything less than a 9 you are an idiot. The food is the BEST… They are a small restaurant so you have to expect the small kitchen and a smaller staff... I have been to every restaurant in the north end and you need to expect the same. As for value it is GREAT... Veal saltimbocca for $14.00... I have gone with a date many times and the bill has been less than $40.00. If you go to a chain you can NEVER do that and it is MASS PRODUCED FOOD... The staff is EXCEPTIONAL. They are hard working and very knowledgeable. If you want the BEST food, a GREAT value, and EXCEPTIONAL staff look no further as you have found it.... Lately I have found that it is getting more popular and is even busier. If you make a reservation you are OK. I hope they never change or get any bigger as I think it will loose the small personal feel that I LOVE.

The food and service can't be beat!

This place is exceptional. It's Nashua's very own little Italy. Best Italian food I've had yet in this area....including Boston!

Best Italian food in Southern NH.

If you like Olive Garden or Bertucci's don't go here. This
is real Italian food, always fresh and delicious.

Numero Uno !!

If I could post anything more than a 10 on any part of this, I would. We moved up from Massachusetts and have been looking for a GREAT Italian restaurant and wasn't able to find any in the Nashua area. This is a GREAT place. We visited the North End for dinner this summer and this was equal if not better. We are always welcomed by the staff and the owner and they never forget what we either eat or drink. The atmosphere is very authentic with the music and the white tablecloths. There can be a wait with no reservations, but it is worth it. The food is unbelievable and the portions will fill you up with some to take home. I suggest the cannolis and the stuffed mushrooms, but everything is out of this world. It is one of Nashua's hidden gems.

I've been going to Cucina Toscana since they opened - hands down, best Italian place around - including Boston. The food is just awesome. Everything is always fresh and the service is fantastic.

Much better when it isn't crowded, because tables are so close have no privacy. Had appetizer never told price but how much could one crab cake be?? $10.95. Had lobster pasta, was $32.95. What kind of restaurant were we eating at? Way over the top, with no presentation. Key lime pie very blan. No real taste of lime. You don't even pay prices like that at the best restaurants. I found the only thing good was the service, even though food was over 35 minutes getting to us. She was pleasant

This is the most charming Italian restaurant in the Nashua area. It is a cozy restaurant and the murals on the wall create much of the charm. The food is amazing - SCRUMPTIOUS! It is my favorite restaurant and no matter how many times I eat there, there is always something new to try. All of the food, including soup, is cooked to order. The owners and the wait staff are all very friendly and make you feel extremely welcome. I always have the best experience there.

I think anyone who rates the service here a 2 is probaby impossible to please under any circumstnaces. The personalized service is unequaled, and the food is out of this world. Yeah, it's a little cramped. Ever been to the North End? Cucina Toscana rivals some of the best restaurants there, which are equally tiny.

Love this place, can't recommend it enough.

I went with my husband for lunch, we were the only people there. The waiter/owner who made sure we knew of his status found it more important to talk to employees then to pay attention to the service or lack of. Food was okay but nothing to go back to.

Being Italian I am very picky about Italian food. The food here is superb! Everything is quite authentic. Although the seating is a tad cramped the food and service make up for it.Portions are huge. This restaurant is right up there with any in the North End Boston. It is very inexpensive as well. The veal parm is enough for 2 and only $13.95. You MUST eat here....

superb!! place is small and only 2 waitstaff usually; but the food is worth the wait. Soups, veal dishes (saltimbocca!), pasta...the chef will do anything you ask...YUMMY!! the co-owner is the Italian waiter who sings and is very personable; the other owner is the chef.

Best Italian in the WORLD... The owner is WONDERFUL the cooks are AMAZING. We go 2-3 times a month. The prices are fair and the portions are HUGE. I have 2 favorites, Veal Saltimbocca and the Seafood Toscano (ask for it spicy it is GREAT)

We are on our way over for dinner now...

Absoulutely unbelievable food. DO NOT forget to get the tableside ceasar. Best I have ever had.

I used to live in the North End of Boston and this is the same stuff.

Only negative is the strip mall location, but you will soon forget once inside.

best italian food in the area- outstanding overall restaurant

review_stars 05/08/2007 - MenuPix User
My family took me here for my birthday and we all raved about the food. It was spectacular! I had a salmon special over Pasta that was just out of this world. We've eaten there numerous times and it's been a great experience each time. It reminds me of the little places in Boston's North End.

This is a little restaurant, but the italian is wonderful! The people are very nice and the service is great. You can tell the owners truly care about the customers here. I would put this in the top 2 of great italian restaurants in Nashua.
