After hearing good things about the food, my mate & I decided to get take-out from Jasmine Palace. We ordered the pork lo mein and found it to be quite satisfactory; tasty but not greasy. We got the teriyaki, which was tender and flavorful. The fried fantail shrimp, however, was hugely disappointing, as were the spring rolls. The shrimp batter was raw on the inside and greasy on the outside, making them inedible. The spring rolls were really greasy, too--as though they'd been cooked in oil that was not hot enough--not light and crispy the way spring rolls should be. And the filling was not traditional either. It seemed that the spring rolls were filled with the same filling used to make egg rolls. The only sauce that came with the spring rolls was duck sauce, not a traditional sauce.
I gave the service a 5 because we got take-out, so the only service I got was across the counter--not too tough. I gave the value a 5 because I don't like to pay good money for poorly cooked food. I gave the atmosphere an 8 because the restaurant was very clean, tidy, and appealing.
Would we go back? No, not likely. We'll go to the Lilac Blossom next time for food that's properly cooked and tastes good.

Nice-looking somewhat upmarket restaurant but with average-at-best largely Chinese food.
Probably has the nicest rest rooms in Nashua.
