We enjoyed two ice cream cones each with one scoop, finding the scoop slightly pricey but equivalent to two scoops at most other shops, with great tasting ice cream and quick, friendly service from the young ladies; despite the low rating, Thrifty ice cream didn't disappoint with delicious flavors like chocolate and pistachio, generous single scoops, reasonable prices, and ample outdoor seating near the pier, making it the perfect dessert spot for a hot day, especially with the helpful employee Junior who held onto a forgotten purse and provided unexpected phone assistance.

No one is supervising the help at this tourist trap. The young ladies spend more time gossiping than helping the customers. The only pride they have in their jobs is how little attention they can give to the customers while one-upping each other in their gossip sessions.
