I recently tried a mid-priced sushi restaurant and found the service a bit inconsistent when I arrived early. The sashimi dinner I ordered had an incredibly generous portion of fish that almost overwhelmed me. Despite having to request regular soy sauce, the uni and salmon roe were absolutely delicious.

Good food, outstanding service. We had a problem with a takeout order the other night, a missing item- hey, it happens sometimes. We called to tell them and they apologies and offered to make it up to us the next time. When we told them we don't live in the area and wouldn't be back for a while, they brought the missing item to us. along with an extra item for our trouble. Really appreciate them making the max effort. This is our go-to place in Carpinteria- tasty food, good portions, reasonable prices- we will keep coming back.

food wasn't great. sushi is alright
but i particularly didn't like the salad dressing.
the food took for a long time to get to us.
service was average and wasn't
attentive. i'd rather drive and get to santa
barbara for my favorite sushi.
