Not sure what the guy was talking about this place not existing anymore. Elliot is still right there on Elliot St. and still doing their hot dogs.

Very good dogs, indeed! Only disappointment is that they've take several items off their menu, like the Slaw Dogs and the Chicago Dog. Really was looking forward to these dogs when I went last night and they were no longer on the menu. Still do very fine Trailer Dogs (deep fried, but NOT battered like a corn dog,) and their Works Dog (mustard, relish and onions, special recipe,) is great.

Certainly good value for only $2 per dog. I think the highest priced dog on the menu was less than $3. You won't find many places like this around these days!

I mis-spoke, the dogs I had were All-Around Dogs, their classics, not Works Dogs. They were great!

This was the most amazing HOT DOG joint I've ever been to and it's SOO SAD they don't exist anymore :(

Peter Rollins loves him some hot dogs and boy oh boy do they have good hot dogs. Stepping into the place is like walking back in time. Definately worth a trip, just make it worth while by getting a 6-pack!

This location is the original!. I've been eating dogs out of here since I was a kid, and now I bring mine. About the only diff is that the relish seems to now be a bottled product. I can remember when it was just chopped pickles.
