Anyone who thinks that this place is expensive must not eat out EVER. This place is beyond reasonably price and what a normal person would characterize as very inexpensive. If people are try to rip a place off by capitalizing on a special of 25 cent wings, obviously it is logical that the restaurant would set rules to prevent that from happening. No restaurant wants customers to come in and sit at a table for several hours and order nothing except for water so they can wait to get the special.

Now, with my own review (instead of responding to nonsensical poor reviews). Wonderful and VERY reasonably priced food for those of us who actually work.

TRUTH ABOUT HATED IT'S EXPERIENCE:
J Michaels has 25 cent wings on certain nights. Naturally, scumbags will crawl in on their bellies like worms and then demand the wing HUNDREDS OF WINGS that they cannot eat in one sitting, EXPECT TO TAKE THEM HOME and the COMPLAIN about the bill they have for the wings they ATE!!
Try to be nice? These A-holes just wanted to take home hundreds of wings and expect the 25 cent price. The sign says "25 cent wings" NOT "Take all of our wings HOME for 25 cents each"
How typical of someone to be a complete f-in scumbag and then point a finger at someone else.
Jerk-offs!
J Michaels is a great place!! TRY IT! You'll thank me!

I'm not happy with the place. Bad service. I specifically drove there to eat, got there at 9pm, they are supposed to be open til 11pm daily and I was told "too bad" and that they shut the grills off because it was slow...why would you shut your grills off? What if a customer walks in too eat? "Too bad" i guess...

I'm shocked at some of the negative comments. My husband and I have been there many times and have always been pleased. Last time we went there, our waitress let us taste the sauces they put on their wings to determine was level of heat we'd like. The owners also visits the tables to see if we're satisfied. Service is always good. No complaints here!!

Wings are great 50% of the time. You never know if there going to be very over cooked or not...very inconsistent

Ive been here multiple times since it opened, the food has always been up to par for my tastes, especially the wings, but like someone posted earlier, the service is the WORST i have ever experienced. The staff is rude beyond believe, i have been ignored for up to 30 minutes when i walk in and sit down at a table, and dont even think about asking for anything if the place is busy as on a monday night. i will never go again, i cant believe they are still in business!

If you asked me for one word to describe J. Michael’s Family Sports Pub it’s COMFORT. From the warm welcoming environment, to the service and most notably the food….comfort. We were welcomed with open arms, greeted by the owners who made us feel comfortable and at home. There were friends and families gathered at each table relaxing, eating and enjoying each other’s company. It was a full house on a cold January Friday evening but the warmth of the place permeated and was palpable.

These guys define “comfort food”! After a long day of skiing we couldn’t have asked for a better option than J. Michaels. We ordered the delicious Homerun Hamburger Dip, Mac-n-Cheeze Bites, and several variations of the wings. These had to be the best wings I’ve ever had…deliciously flavored, tender chicken. ..Literally finger licking good; ladies put grace aside and get your hands dirty, it’s worth it! The Homerun Hamburger Dip…wow, it gave me chills. The combination of the cheese, beef and tomatoes was just right (I think it’s a secret family recipe?). The Mac-n-Cheeze Bites…apparently all the kids love them but I haven’t been a kid in “ahem” some time now and I can honestly say I couldn’t stop eating them. I wanted to try so many more things on the menu, but this just means we’ll have to go back for more and we will! I wish I lived closer, I would make a weekly (or more) stop.

If you’re in the neighborhood and in need of some comfort, stop by at J. Michaels and get your fill!

Monday nights and during Pats games, 25 cent chicken wings and 2 dollar drafts. Can't go wrong.

The service here is so terrible. All of the waitresses are incredibly rude and the drinks are way overpriced. I went here for dinner and then wings after. The waitress would not bring me a to go container because I ordered wings. When she finally gave in she came over to give me the container and took away all of the wings on the table. We weren't even finished and she threw them out. The bill totalled over $70, and half of our wings were thrown out. After she brought the box over she had a bad attitude with us for the rest of the night. The food is not very good and the prices are unbelievable. If you don't get a heart attack from their food you'll sure get one when you look at the bill.

This place is great. The owners always so welcoming. I was there on Wednesday night for dinner and they had a Wii Bowling contest! The wings and steak tips are unbelievable. And they have a deep fried Snickers bar for dessert!

My husband and I go here often, especially during football season. It is close to home and they have a great variety of appetizers, all of which are delicious. The service is always friendly but orders can sometimes take longer than the normal wait time...everything is made to order as they explain on their menu. Kids & adults will love the deep fried Mac & Cheese bites and the deep fried snickers bar is a MUST for dessert.

Loved everything.....best buffalo wings in the area, so far as I could find and loved that deep fried brownie, which my waitor recommended. I have been there many times since and have not had a bad meal, and I bring all my friends in whenever I get a chance. The wait staff and owners make you feel like you are at there home.

Absolutely great. Saw them at Taste of Salem and have gone there twice. Loved it both times. Great food, kid friendly, and sports on all those tv's. Owners and staff make you feel like you're at home.

I have been to J Michael's numerous time and is very please with everything. The food is always great. Atmosphere is awsome, service is great as well.

I was there on a Monday night. It was pretty quiet, older crowd. I'm in my early 20's but it was still a pretty entertaining place. Your standard sports bar. The waitress was very nice and she was working hard. The food and drinks were great. Maybe the weekends are a bit more "happening".
