No frills. Dealt with someone who barely spoke English. Cafeteria style. Grab a menu, choose your table, go up and place your order, plastic utensils, chop sticks when asked for. Food arrives in take out containers. Good sized potions, very reasonable prices and the food was hot.

By far the worst delivery ever. After waiting an hour for delivery I called and they said it would be arriving shortly. After another 20 min I had to call back and they said the driver got lost and would send out another driver...that driver never arrived and never cancelled my order

I started getting take-out here when Lucky Corner burned down and I love it!! The food is fabulous and the people that work there are always pleasant and friendly! They have the BEST egg rolls around!! They are not just full of cabbage like some places!

Food is always delicious and the employees are very friendly. Plenty of parking. Dining room is available but almost all patrons order the food to go. Complimentary Chinese tea.

The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious! Over the past few years, I have tried nearly everything on the menu, and have yet to be disappointed!!

Good food, good prices.
Typical Chinese faire, done well without trying to do anything weird with it.
Large potions, fresh food, open kitchen.
The dining room looks like an old pizza place, but it's a mostly take-out kind of place.
There are a lot of Chinese food restaurants in Salem, but this one is consistently good and has been for years.

This restaurant was great. I loved it. The food was fresh and delicious. One order came with a lot of food and I didn't even have to spend that much money.

I haven't had much here, but the beef and chicken teriaki are probably the best I've ever had. Dining room needs a facelift, but it's good for take out.

To be fair, I have visited this restaurant three times in hopes of getting a good meal. It is close to where I work, most accessible and has short wait times.

Strike 1: General Gau's Chicken - Being my favorite Chinese dish, it is also among the dishes I am least picky about. This, however, was the worst General Gau's chicken I have ever had. No coordination of flavors, whatsoever. Too little of this, way too much of that. It's like no one ever tasted the recipe and they just threw a bunch of flavors together, thinking it would work. I have never tasted two General Gau's chicken recipes that were exactly alike but of the dozens upon dozens I've sampled, this was the only one I didn't finish or save for leftovers.

Strike 2: Chicken Chow Mein. I figured I would downgrade my expectations a bit and go with something simpler. Minus the fact it had about 10 times more bamboo shoots than I would normally expect, it looked pretty good. The verdict? Not a single drop of flavor, whatsoever. It was like eating chicken in a water gravy. Salt salvaged it enough for me to eat until I was full and toss the rest.

Strike 3: Yet again downgrading my expectations, I decided to try the Sweet and Sour Chicken. For you novices, that's deep fried chicken fingers with a red "sweet and sour" sauce. Again, it looked good. I would have preferred my sauce on the side rather than drenching my chicken fingers, but that's OK. That is, until I took a bite and got a mouthful of raw tempura batter. I picked apart 2 more chicken fingers to find more raw batter in each. Not just a little, A LOT. Fortunately, the meat appeared cooked and I don't expect to end up in the hospital. In all fairness, though, the beef teriyaki included with my meal was decent, possibly even above average.

I'll settle for a restaurant that can at least give me a decent meal of deep-fried basics, but when you can't even get that right, it's a lost cause.

Sorry, but three strikes and you're out.

Quantity over quality. Lunch was enough for lunch and dinner. At 12:30pm I was the only person there...

Great Chinese takeout. Best General Gau chicken in the area. I've been looking for Singapore noodles. They make it and it is delicious. Like most take out places, they are kind of cheap with the condiments. Ask for extra hot mustard, or soy sauce or whatever.
