The roast beef pockets used to be great and full of meat a year ago but since the price of meat went up they are very slight. I would not get that again. 8/10/16

While there might be a limited number of pizza/ sub shops in Hampstead, I think that I would rather go hungry than visit the world's worst sub shop! I have reluctantly gone there a few times; each time with the hopes that they have improved their food. So much for being optimistic! First visit: They forgot to add buffalo sauce on my BUFFALO wings! Bone dry wings. Visit number 2: A turkey sub that (sorry for being graphic) made me run for the toilet within a 1/2 hour. Visit numero tres: Fried mushrooms that had been battered twice! Obviously they had been fried, frozen, breaded and fried again!!! VIAL! I vowed that my last visit would be my ABSOLUTE last to this place. Avoid this place like the plague! Eat Dinty Moore or opt for that rat poison under the kitchen sink! Toss n Sauce is a LAST RESORT!!!

Toss N Sauce has great hand-tossed Italian style pizza, the best pizza around by far. It's not greasy like Sal's or floppy either, just nice and crispy. I've tried a bunch of their menu items, and everything i've tried was really good. Nothing is overpriced, it's all a good value for the money. The staff is very friendly, especially the guys and gals cooking, and the service is usually very quick (unless it's a Friday night or something when they're really busy, but it's still pretty fast). I reccommend anyone who loves NY / Italian style pizza to check this place out.
