I had an incredible experience with the juiciest chicken around, and even my picky son devoured three pieces! The seasoning was perfect, and the chicken was tender and crispy without being greasy. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made it feel like visiting family, and I can't wait to return for more!

My father Gerry and his brothers opened The Broasterant in the '60's, and it def. has the best chicken in Hartford or CT! Grew up in CT, but now live in WV and boy do I miss it! You won't be disappointed, worth the drive.

My brother-In Law Johnny comes up every year from Atlanta GA to visit and the first place he goes to is the Broasterant. He grew up eating Broasterant when he lived in Connecticut back in the 80's.and out of all the chicken places he has ever eaten. By far, he said the Broasterant has the best chicken that he has ever tasted. I would like to add that I grew up eating the Broasterant too and they have the best chicken and fish which my wife loves.

Best deep fried chicken in Hartford. In you like old school diners, this place is the best.

I grew up eating at Broasterant. The same person still owns it. When you place your order you will have to wait a bit. I do not say this in a bad way, in the contrary, the best things come to those who wait. She will give you delicious hot fried chicken and hot crunchy french fries. This is the best place to eat. You also have to try the fried shrimp. It stays hot even if you take it to go. I would say to everyone, this is the best chicken in Hartford. Oh, and she is very, very clean!!!!!!
