This is my favorite restaurant in Madison. They have the BEST tiramisu. I HIGHLY recommend this to any person who likes ethnic food and great desserts

I had my first Buraka experience last night and it was amazing. I've had ethiopian and african food before but not for a long time, so I've been wanting to go to Buraka for a while. I highly suggest getting the tostones for an appetizer; the sweet and spicy mixture of the plantains and the sauce is amazing. The dish I ate was very good. With dinner you get to choose between rice and injera-I highly suggest the injera because it makes the experience much more fun and authentic. Plus it's tasty! I will be returning to Buraka many many more times.

I've seen this place for 10 years but never stopped in... I guess African food just didn't sound appetizing?

Well, I stopped in the other day and it was amazing. The food is unique (to Madison at least) and delicious.

I definitely recommend giving this place a shot!

My absolute favorite restaurant! The food is always fantastic! I always end up eating much more than I should, but I just can't seem to stop! The desserts aren't good, but I barely have room when I'm done. They have lots of vegetarian options and are very accommodating with special requests! Make sure you go after 5 pm so you get the to-die-for salad with your meal!

Took 40 minutes to get served last night, granted it was busy, but basically what we ordered was stew served over rice. It's not like they make it from scratch. I like the food there and have been there many time but I won't be going back.
