The food at China Wok is generally pretty good, although I thought their lo mein had a strange off-taste a few times. The problem I have is the way I last got treated when I brought my takeout to the checkout. The fellow at the register picks up my container, looks inside, puts it down, picks it up again, gives it a longer look, grimaces, gives a disapproving sigh, puts it down, and with not a word charges me a dollar more. Excuse me, but I consider that rather rude. The lunch buffet has a set price, and if I took too much, they should have weighed it, or told me why they charged more. I also don't like being given a painful expression and disapproving sigh when I patronized a business.

Always good!! Consistent.
Sushi on weekends is also very good.
Some of the larger shrimp in dishes on buffet, than most all of Madison.
Reasonable pricing.
We like it the best Chinese Buffet in Madison area.

My family loves this restaurant! Whenever asked where they'd like to eat, China Wok is the first place named!
