I ordered a noodle dish with Chiang Mai Curried Chicken. The menu described the meat for this dish as "chicken breast", but it was all dark meat--drumsticks, etc--and not very fresh. I complained to the waitress. At first she did not seem to want to do anything about it, but finally went back to the kitchen, and returned with a choice for me: reduce the price of the item to 1/2, or get something else substituted for it. By this time my appetite was ruined, so I took the price reduction.
My wife ordered Kung Pao chicken. It was really average.
Service was just OK, and the price was definitely too high for what we got.
I have lived in Thailand, and I know what good Thai food is. Unfortunately, these people don't. (Chiang Mai is a city in the north of Thailand, by the way.)
We will not be returning to this restaurant, which was a big disappointment to us.

The best homemade noodles/dumplings in town! Wonderful bowls of soup for 'cheap'. Fancy restaurants in Madison are now carrying Wah Kee noodles (Graze/Umami) this is how good they are.mmmm

As a Hong Kong Chinese customer that has been more than 20 times, this place is fantastic, it really reminds me of little street-side noodle restaurants. Try their pork buns, their rice noodle dishes and their specialty- their wonton noodles. Noodles are made in house and are fresh, and their wonton dumplings have the perfect mix of pork and shrimp. Wish they included a few more vegetables in their broths. Service is great. Don't expect anything glamorous though!

The menu is incredibly broad and, even though I eat there often, I've never had the same menu item twice. I'm not Asian, but this feels like what home-style Chinese cooking would be. It's wonderful Chinese comfort food. It's not as fancy (or as expensive) as some others, but definitely my favorite.

The food is authentic but the service sucks. Some noodles are not that good but other dishes are amazing. I go there whenever I miss real chinese cuisine.

The food is authentic and obviously prepared with care. They by far have the best Chinese food in Madison. You can taste that the noodles are homemade. You will never be disappointed with their food.
