SERIOUSLY??!!!! $8.00 FOR A BLT???? A SIDE OF BACON IS $2.00 ON THEIR MENU AND TOAST IS LESS.....NOT WORTH IT AND WAY WAY WAY OVER PRICED FOR A DINER...NOT EVEN HIGH QUALITY BACON OR BREAD.....SERIOUSLY!!!

I was visiting the area and had lunch at Mr. Handy's diner. The ambience was amazing, conversations were buzzing, warm interactions were observed by me between the charming owner and the customers. I ordered a falafel (being a vegetarian) & it was delicious. I would recommend Handy's lunch to all visiting the Burlington area.actual

Earl probably knows every single person that goes to Handy's.
The atmosphere is great. U shaped counters make everyone feel like family. There's normally one giant conversation that everyone contributes to.
The food is your typical greasy spoon diner food though I would say on the high end. The prices are cheap and breakfast is served all day on the weekends.
All in all it's a great place with a lot of character and great food.

The food is truly amazing. Tastes home cooked. The people are great and know your face after even a couple times of going there.

This is a small little place further south than most breakfast places in Burlington. Add about $0.50 to prices shown in this version of the menu. Still a great deal. Food is as you would expect from a diner-type place. Often less crowded than all the other Burlington breakfast spots.
