The Indian food here is head and shoulders above the rest in Burlington. The Daal Makhani and Paneer Masala are my personal favorites. I visit India House frequently because it truly offers the most authentic Indian cuisine in the area. You can see the proof in the diverse mix of customers who frequent the restaurant, especially on Sundays.

We enjoy India House very much. Their pakoras and samosas are great, as are all the variety of naan they offer. Their house Shiraz "Sula" is quite good and goes well with the food. Two of our "go to" dishes are Aloo Gobi and Veggie Korma. Consistently good, always hot, and lots of excellent flavor. We always have enough left over for another meal. If we're not too full, it's a treat to have their Masala Chai. One of the best I've had.
Service-wise they couldn't be more pleasant and the meal is excellently timed. Parking is never an issue as there is a free lot just across the street that is never full. They re-did the inside of the restaurant last year and are renovating the outside this year. It makes quite a difference.

Best Indian Food that Burlington has to offer!!
OK, this isn't the best Indian food if your ever eaten Indian food in the UK or in a city with a larger Indian population, but it serves a need a hits the spot when I'm craving Tikka Masala

I don't understand what everyone is complaining about. Their chicken vindaloo is so good. Their service is fantastic, my water level never dipped below half-way. I got naan and it was buttery and crispy and hot, what is there to complain about?

so bad that I will never ever go again, they provided old food and the price is too high for that food. I would never recommend this place to anybody

Went on a Wednesday.ordered a combination plate. Arrived about 5 minutes later. (What's the hurry?) All food (chicken, lamb something, etc) was barely warm. This food must have been in the steam table in the kitchen for days. Chicken was dry and tough, and the lamb was so dry and overcooked you couldn't tell what you were eatting. flavor uneventful. YETCH!!! And if you ever check the Sunday paper for the restaurant cleanliness review they pretty much consistently score low 70s. Skip this place. If you want Indian go to Shalimar.
