After a long day at the water, sinking my teeth into the tender pork and fluffy fish cakes in the saimin was pure comfort. The broth had just the right balance of salty and soothing flavors, especially when I added a bit of the homemade vinegar sauce and spicy mustard to brighten it up. The whole vibe felt cozy and authentic, with quick service and a friendly atmosphere that made the experience even better-oh, and don't forget to try the light, tart lilikoi chiffon pie to finish things off.
