I've been getting lunch from this place over 5 years, but hadn't been here for a couple months. It's always had better than average soba entrees and a good value special lunch combo. But something has gone SERIOUSLY wrong with the food and stuff missing from the order.

I had the oyako combo (as I've had many times before). Firstly, the price went up around 50 cents since the last time around 2 months ago. The soba was soggy and the sauce was not soba sauce; it tasted more like saimin soup base. There was no shrimp tempura and tempura veggies served with the soba. And the oyako don was a much smaller serving than what I had here 2 months ago.

This place has gone from a 3.5 star lunch place, to a 1 star lunch place in under two months. I think the new staff doesn't know how soba is supposed to taste like and have change a good value $8-9 lunch special into a RIP OFF!! Soba had no shrimp and veggie tempura !! Nine dollars for a small bowl of oyako don and soba sauce that was not made for soba . . . I don't think so. My advice, avoid this place like the plague.

I will not be going to this place for a VERY LONG TIME (perhaps when they change out the staff or ownership).
