Growing up in Kalihi Valley, Palace Saimin was a favorite for satisfying my saimin cravings, and even after moving back to Maui, it remains my go-to whenever I visit Oahu. The simple menu of saimin, won ton min, and BBQ sticks hits the spot every time, especially on rainy days when the warm broth feels like a comforting hug. Although parking can be tricky, the friendly service and consistent flavors bring back great memories and keep me coming back regularly.
