The tonkatsu here absolutely blew me away with its crispy, golden crust and juicy, flavorful meat that melted in my mouth-seriously, it rivals some of the best I've had in Tokyo and Hong Kong. The interactive experience of grinding sesame seeds to make my own dipping sauce was such a fun touch, and the generous portions of miso soup and cabbage salad kept me happily full without any complaints about the slight oiliness. The cozy, lively vibe combined with attentive service made the whole meal feel like a warm Hawaiian hug, and I'm already counting down the days until I can dive back into that deliciousness again.
