Local Hawaiian cuisine can be found throughout the islands, but this establishment offers a unique country-style Japanese twist that caught my attention. Managed by three Japanese-American women, the fresh sashimi included in their lunch plates stands out as something rarely seen in typical Hawaiian fare.

We don't go all the time, but we love breakfast there - what a deal. I used to teach nearby, and both students and faculty loved breakfast and student deals. We've never experienced the long wait someone else ranted about, but maybe she ordered a lot of food, some items that are not ordered often or things that take longer to prep? Whenever you go to a small local place, look around and see what other people order - that's what to get! Yum.

I actually give this place 5 stars for the food. For the price and amount you get is very resonable, however, their service sucks, big time. The last three times I went there, I waited 35 to 50 minutes for my order. They do not have a take out menu and the on line menue is not complete. They don't have the entire menu on line. I'm a person who hates waiting for my food order. No matter where I choose to eat, I always make a phone order, so I don't have to wait so long. 8 people ordered after me got their food, therefore for service they get a -5 stars. So prepare to wait a long time if you want to eat there!!! My time is valuable. I don't have time wasting my time to wait for take out food and writing this review, but people should know about the service!!! Oh, the regulars get immediate service.
