The menu offers a wide variety of authentic Chinese dishes, with favorites like mapo tofu, crispy gau gee, honey walnut shrimp, and stuffed eggplant consistently delivering fresh, flavorful meals made to order. Takeout is convenient and timely, with staff often willing to recommend dishes based on your preferences, though the service can sometimes feel a bit brusque. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and easy to access with ample parking, making it a reliable choice for both dine-in and takeout on the Windward side.

We arrived for an early dinner. Just had arrived home from mainland. So were just hungry for something simple. I guess the deep fryer was not hot yet because the egg roll was so greasy that we didn't eat it. Pools of grease on the plate. My Gon Lo mein broth was tasteless. Dumplings were Ok. My sister in laws "dinner plate" was huge but the food tasteless. The fried rice was only that: white rice fried but not even any oyster sauce in it. Looked white. I don't think we will go back. Sad to say.

Try out this restaurant if you are in the mood for good Chinese food! This is not compared to high-end Chinese Cuisine. I love this place for Chinese food, because the food tastes really good - tastier than most I have tried. The service is pretty quick, especially for take-out...it seems no matter how many dishes I order (from 5-8) it takes about 15 minutes.Prices are your average price per serving (5.50 - 7.50)
One thing that keeps from being 5 is portion size. They could put a little more food for take-out, but it is a compromise for taste!
