There is no reservation system, so waiting in line is necessary, and wait times can be unpredictable, especially when short-staffed, but the generous portions and delicious flavors make it worthwhile. This family-owned restaurant offers authentic Japanese-Hawaiian meals with friendly service and a warm atmosphere, making each visit memorable and something I look forward to repeating.

A blast from the past. Old Hawaii just south of Kona/Holualoa. Open for lunch and dinner. Japanese food with huge flavor and friendly prices. Super chill and welcoming staff. Went on a recommendation form a local friend and we are hooked.

we took our brother for his 50th birthday celebration and the food was great, not to mention their famous shrimp tempura in Japanese style dining. We love Teshimas, mahalo.
