It's such a shame that Edelweiss has shut down, as I'll miss their incredible French onion soup and unforgettable filet mignon with green pepper sauce. I can't believe I won't be able to revisit this amazing spot when I return to the Big Island next month.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times. I have never had anything but fabulous experiences. Especially fabulous is the Rouladen, pieces of round steak, pounded, thin, stuffed with small pieces of carrot, dill. Sprinkled with onion, and a smear of mustard on the beef. Roll up, toothpicks. Brown and simmer in beef broth until tender. Served with white egg noodles. This is a German dish and edelweiss makes it incredibly wonderful

Had heard our favorite restaurant on the Big Island had closed. Good news that it's still going. Wonderful, perfect atmosphere, GREAT food & service.
