The food here is solid Tex-Mex with generous portions, and the pumpkin flan to go was impossible to resist finishing before I left. The setting in the restored train depot adds a fun, cozy vibe, complete with a model train circling above, and the staff handled our large group with friendly, attentive service despite the busy atmosphere. Drinks like the margaritas were tasty, chips and salsa came out right away, and while the service was a bit slow at times, the delicious food made waiting totally worth it.

The Tex-Mex restaurant, designed like a railroad dining car, exudes a quaint and cozy charm with its innovative dishes and communal long tables. Nestled in the heart of Riverton, the historic Depot offers a variety of enticing entrees and attentive service despite its bustling atmosphere. While the food may take a bit to arrive, the hot and delicious dishes make the wait worthwhile, providing a satisfying dining experience in the midst of small-town Wyoming.
