In 2014, while parked at Lake Marie with friends, we met a man who needed a tow and mentioned heading to a nearby destination. We followed him there, discovering a charming restaurant that felt rich with history and local character. It became a special find for me, a hidden treasure just a short drive from my parents' home, perfect for grabbing a tasty sandwich or relaxing with a beer after a day in the mountains.
