The food is consistently good with generous portions, especially the homemade home fries and well-prepared eggs, which set this place apart from many others. The menu is varied, offering everything from hearty breakfasts like the "Kal's Breakfast" and Western omelette to delicious pizzas and sandwiches, all served in a friendly and casual atmosphere. While service can be a bit slow at times due to limited staff, the attentive and personable waitstaff, along with reasonable prices, make it a reliable choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The breakfast at Kal's was satisfying with a generous portion size, and the homemade home fries were particularly delicious. The service was decent, although it was noticeable that only one server was managing all the tables. Overall, a good experience and a place worth returning to for a hearty meal.
