Hey there! Love this local bakery in Scarborough. They have an amazing selection of pastries, muffins, cookies, pies, bread, and more. The European-inspired treats are freshly made and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

I am a regular customer of Montmartre Bakery. I knew the owner who passed away a few years ago. He was a motivating force and the people love to work for him and customers love to see him always in positive mood.
There is an associate whom I liked a lot, that is Rosemary, she is wonderful, always receiving hand and face. She is patient and listens to help us all. It used to be European but now it is multicultural. Rosemary takes care of them all. So are all other associates. Everyone looks fantastic and smiling. I wish the government and big corporations visit and learn a lot from this bakery. I am waiting for the Christmas stollen cake.
In GOOD HEALTH FOOD AND ASSOCIATES. Best of luck Montmartre.

Rosemary is always a burst of sunshine when a customer comes in. She is efficient, knowledgeable about the products, and very meticulous when packing the wonderful baking. Much appreciated!

I just wanted to give a big shout out and thank you to Rosemary. She is always friendly and helpful and I am always greeted with a warm welcome! Last winter an elderly lady was struggling down the stairs when leaving. Rosemary came quickly to help her and walked her to her car, without a coat, and it was pretty cold!
That's not just amazing customer service, that's pure kindness!!!
You have a true gem in Rosemary!! Thank you Rosemary for all you do!

I have been coming to this wonderful bakery for the last 4 years and the pastries remind me off the ones I had in London England which flooded memories of happiness with family and friends.
All the pastries breads biscuits are absolutely delicious and everyone who tasted these were in heaven and now too addicted like myself.
The staff are amazing very warm friendly kind and polite and that's why they see me often as one is appreciated. Thanks to all you wonderful people God Bless 🙏😊😋

On Wednesday, July 10, I entered the bakery and read the board message "whatever you touch, you purchase". I thought that was a good idea until I heard the story about some customer who had wanted 15 loaves of the sunflower bread and was told that quantities were limited. The customer made a fuss and gave Rosemary a hard time. The problem with the you "touch, you purchase" message is that someone can proceed to touch large quantities of products that they want and will then claim that "the bakery will now have to allow them to buy all this product because they have touched it" even though the quantities are limited. Poor Rosemary cannot police and give information to rude and unruly customers without causing a great deal of upset. Why not go back to the system you used a few weeks back, where customers were not allowed to roam the bakery, but were handed their orders by someone like Rosemary. Then there is no unnecessary touching, no picking up loaves and then putting them down again while Rosemary is attending to another customer and the bakery has control over the quantity of any particular product that is purchased. Please give Rosemary a break, she was not trained in police work and has little clout over nasty people. I found Rosemary very attentive and most concerned about her duties, but also frustrated over the thoughtless and rude customers that tried to take advantage of her.
