The Mexican restaurant near Caesars Windsor serves up delicious food with a welcoming vibe. The pork tacos and combo platter were flavorful, and the homemade salsa and chips were a hit. Can't wait to return for more tasty dishes and friendly service!

I read the reviews for Mi Casita restaurant. And like always, I went and try it out myself. Some people you can not please no matter what. Here's my experience.
Service was great. Friendly. The food took time but it wasn't pulled out of a freezer and put in a microwave. It's actually made from scratch and was delicious, let me say that again, it was delicious.
Atmosphere was excellent. Latin music and the decors was perfect.
Prices were not the cheapest but what I got and what I paid for was nothing short of amazing. Food was so delicious. I'll be back for sure. In fact I think this will be my number one restaurant to go to.
If you haven't tried Mi Casita I encourage you to try and if you tried it already, give it a second chance. As with all of us humans, we all have our off days.
I've reviewed several restaurants in Windsor and found that Mi Casita, tops most when it's comes to service and value.

Worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Don't waste your time or money on this place. The entire experience was horrible, they were understaffed in both servers and kitchen, food took forever, our waitress was rude, the music was so loud we couldn't talk, the acoustics made it worse it was busy so we could hear every conversation and because the music was so loud everyone was shouting to hear each other and made all the noise unbearable. The 5 of us all ordered something different and each meal was a soggy mess. The tacos you couldn't pick them up because the soft taco was soggy and fell apart, my chimichanga was supposed to be deep fried so it should have been nice and crispy, but was like a wet diaper, we had 5 meals, 5 drinks, and the bill was $200. Trust me when I say Taco Bell is better and a quarter of the price. I recommend not going. I predict this place will be closed soon, people will come and never return.

after visiting in the summer and having a great experience we ordered take out recently. Food was 40 minutes late with no phone call and the driver knocked on the door dropped the food and took off. the food was all cold, cheese was a solid brick, tacos were so unfresh due to lateness. this was for a special occasion and ruined the evening. after calling four times and leaving four message with staff to have the owner call and explain, we never received a call back. soooo bad in todays day and age not to address an unhappy customer!!!
as i raved about our good experience , i will do the same about the bad experience and horrible owner follow-up
