I have been frequenting this hot dog joint since my childhood, when my Dad used to take us to the downtown location after watching Golden Gloves boxing matches 60 years ago - a cherished memory. Discovering an unfamiliar fast-food spot while traveling always adds a touch of excitement to the journey, and JCI stands out as a hotdog-based chain that offers a unique twist on the traditional menu with a variety of bun options and unconventional toppings like Chipotle Mayo, Guacamole, Pico, and Cilantro & Fresh Jalapeños. My recent visit exceeded expectations - the food was not only affordable but also delicious, with generous portions of cheese that left a lasting impression.
