My first experience with sushi was enjoyable, as the owners were friendly while I waited for my takeout order. Although we considered returning, concerns about health standards made us hesitant. I ended up trying the beef teriyaki lunch box during a family outing, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved it, especially the delicious tempura udon on a chilly day.

Moved to the Kootenays last year from Kelowna. My daughter Jennifer and I went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch while visiting Rossland today. We came across a quaint little place at 2116 Columbia Avenue called AKA DAKE SUSHI where we had the most delicious lunch consisting of Miso soup, Salad, Sushi, Chicken and Beef Teriyaki and Tempura.It was snowing out and cold and this delicious meal just hit the spot.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

sometimes the sushi is great! but oftentimes they will mess up your order and you wont get what you paid for or extra things added. (For example forgetting about your tempura and adding 3 extra miso soups.) Sometimes the fish and seafood is good but most of the time its not fresh at all (i understand that we live in the interior of B.C so sometimes its hard). Overall its not my favorite resturant.
