This downtown Houston restaurant offers an excellent selection of authentic Cajun and Creole dishes, with consistently flavorful options like baked chicken and jambalaya. The welcoming atmosphere, combined with friendly service and a nostalgic cafeteria vibe, makes it a favorite lunch destination for many locals, especially during its limited hours from 11 AM to 2:30 PM.
